I hate the winter.
No, not just because of it's horrible weather. I hate the winter season for one sole reason:
It's what I refer to as the "dead season". As a photographer this recurring dark time is something more like a beast that sucks the inspiration and drive right out of my being. I'm sure many others may have the opposite opinion, but for me, I hate the winter. Personally, I hate taking a dozen of pictures of snow. It's white and boring. That being said, there are ways to use the snow to your advantage and turn it into a great piece of photography. I just don't seem to travel around much in the winter, therefore, most of my winter photographs take place in my yard. How boring.
Going to wrap this up as I am getting cold.

Hey All,
Holy cow, several days ago was my 10 year Anniversary of joining deviantART. (This account anyway, my old account was made about 2-3 years earlier) I feel like they should give you some kind of 10 year badge or something haha. I'm not active on here anymore except to accept member submissions to my photography group. Which just hit the 7 year mark itself. GO JOIN! - Aperteur

So I randomly checked the Notices section of my inbox dA, saw one to be about skylines so it catches my attention so I click it and Lo and Behold, my Cityscape photo is the second on the page. Kinda nice to receive some recognition of some sort.

Ramble On
I had my 6th dA anniversary a few months back, but wow has time flew! I'm not very active here, but I do stop by daily, mostly to manage my growing Photography group. (You should check it out Aperteur (https://www.deviantart.com/aperteur) ) Anyways, this wasn't supposed to be a plug for my group. To think of where I was six years ago (really 7 if you count my original dA account) and where I am now working as a full time Graphic Designer, it just blows my mind. I was 15 when I joined dA and now I'm 22. I'm getting old...

Since my last update I have been fortunate enough to land a job as a graphic designer for a t-shirt shop 2 minutes down the street from my house. I am now a 9-5 employee. I have to pinch myself sometimes to make myself realize how lucky I was to come across an opportunity like this. I mean how many graphic designers out there my age are privileged enough to hold the position at a blossoming company like I am..
So how have you been?
